The very picture of serenity
Ajman is located between the emirates
of Umm Al-Quwain and Sharjah, on the coast of the Arabian
Gulf. Its 259 square kilometres, excluding the islands, accounts
for just 0.3% of the country's total area. The two major regions
in the emirate are Masfout, an agricultural area, and Manama.
The port of Ajman is located along a natural creek (Khor)
which runs into the town. The Ajman Historic Fort & Museum,
the Natural Harbour & Port, and the Ajman beach are the
main attractions here.
