Facilities: Taj Palace Hotel Dubai received a well-deserved international nomination as ‘Best New Hotel of the Year’ in February 2002. One of the Dubai’s alcohol-free hotels, its Décor is tastefully lavish, rather than gaudy. Guest rooms are modern. Restaurants are very good: Verdi serves Italian, Sakura is Japanese, Handi is an Indian and Topkapi is Dubai’s only five-star Turkish restaurant. It has 24-hour coffee shop, rooftop Café Nargila, Health Club, swimming pools and  spa.
